OMBAC Rugby: A team in transition.

Rugby and Coaching is not all glory. Often times we have to work hard to recalibrate a team, rebuild a culture or re-educate players for the benefit of their own game and well - being.

OMBAC Rugby in 2022 is in a rebuild phase and the 7s season has been part of the transition into a new way of playing the game.

A few of the objectives include:

- playing an unselfish game through ball movement and space management

- encouraging leaner rugby players with endurance ability.

- empowering individual decision making and multi-functional roles.

Here we see how the whole team gets engaged in the score. The opportunities for contact are multiple; the team however, choses to keep the ball and create options, only opting for contact when it's absolutely necessary.
